Media Consultant/Trainer

Peggy has witnessed and recorded the history of Native America for the past 40 years. She is one of the first women in public media and has collaborated with major institutions sharing Native stories. In her keynotes she addresses her role a Native woman in media, leadership skills and diversity in media. Peggy also has 33 years of sobriety and speaks eloquently from experience on overcoming addiction.

Peggy loves to share her media skills. She is often sought after to teach radio production and micing skills. She is known as one of the best interviewers and will share this important skill with producers at any level. Several of her past guests compared her interview style to Studs Terkel. Peggy says that anyone can ask questions but conversing with others and listening deeply is what makes for a meaningful interview. She also teaches editing with most popular digital editing tools.
